School Council
At St. Sampson’s, we have an active School Council. We see this as a positive way of familiarising and involving all children in the decision making of the school. Each class elects two representatives to be their voice on the Council. Classes hold regular meetings in order for everyone to have a say in the decisions are being made and put forward suggestions to enhance the school. The representatives take the views of the class to the School Council meeting, which is chaired by two of the pupils. The minutes of the meeting are then given out to all classes to ensure all children know what has been discussed.
School Council representatives help guide visitors around the school and will help answer any questions. Furthermore, they contribute to improvements to the school environment, designing and evaluating surveys and questionnaires.
